Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare curries and soups according to Chef’s instructions.
Prepare appetizers with use of gas fryer.
General prep work for all menu items.
Ensure rice cookers are replenished.
Manages ticket racks and communicates order flow with Chef.
Monitors temperatures in gas fryer, hot holding, soup warmer and during cooling to ensure food safety compliance.
Receives deliveries and stores products according to food safety regulations.
Serves customers’ food and packs take out orders appropriately.
Dishwashing and general cleaning duties carried out according to food safety protocols.
Inputs customer orders into POS system in a diligent and attentive manner.
Takes payment and handles operation and balancing of cash drawer responsibly.
Serves customers’ food with care and packs take out orders appropriately.
Communicates well with kitchen staff to ensure efficiency of operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Food Safe Certificate Level 1
Some food service and cash handling experience
$12.65 / hour
Shared tips and monthly bonus based on sales targets (following probation period)
